We had a great time with Josh and Sierra on a beautiful day in late February for their wedding. The bride and groom were so laid back and easy going which really allowed us to feel comfortable. We were lucky enough to have been asked to take their engagement photos last summer and were so excited that they asked us to shoot their wedding.
Our day started at the church with the girls getting ready. Sierra’s daughter Bambi is such a fun little girl and was a trooper for her mom’s big day. Once the guys arrived, they were kind enough to step outside even though it was so chilly for a few photos. Sierra wore her grandmother’s wedding dress and Josh wore his uniform.
There were some nerves just before the ceremony began, but as soon as Josh and Sierra laid eyes on each other they were both overtaken with joy and tears began to flow (I may have cried one or two myself). After the kiss, the wedding party stepped off of the platform and ended the ceremony with praise and worship, which was the first time we had ever been a part of a ceremony like that. It was a beautiful and unique way to spend the first moments as married couple!
